Viking Cottage stands on the site of the old bull pen. It takes its name from The Viking Way, south facing with outstanding views of the Lincolnshire wolds, private fishing lakes

One of our 7 restored courtyard of holiday cottages located here at Poachers’s hideaway within our grounds you have private use of our fishing lakes, miles of stunning countryside located in the Lincolnshire Wolds natural outstanding beauty, our private fishing lakes are for guests use only, we have nature ponds, natural springs you will see while exploring within the valley of peace and tranquility, our hidden gem is home to rare wildlife, we have 150 acres of natural outstanding countryside, woodlands and meadows which is part of the viking way walk while exploring the views so rare to find

The bedroom, which is also off the lounge is light and spacious with a feature high ash ceiling, comprehensive range of solid pine furniture and a king size bed, plus a single bed in the same bedroom

At the heart of the cottage is the oak panelled lounge/diner with 3 seater red leather settee, soft lighting and ample space for dining.
The adjacent fully fitted kitchen offers an excellent range of pots, pans, utensils and glasses together with a wide range of kitchen appliances, both large and small.

Viking Cottage is a comfortable and cosy 1-bedroom cottage, south facing with stunning views over the fishing lakes and rolling Lincolnshire Wolds

Directions & Parking

The access to The Poachers Hideaway is down a one kilometre long private road with one passing place half way down. This is a working agricultural area, and if you meet an agricultural vehicle or any other vehicle you must reverse out of the way and under NO circumstances drive on any crops / field space.

Please advise your vehicle registration number(s) before arrival.

Parking Please park your motor vehicles in the designated parking areas. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owners own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents. CCTV images are being monitored on the farm for the purpose of crime prevention and your safety. Please ensure you have supplied us with your vehicle registration details as requested.
