The Snug

Placeholder Picture

The Snug is a self-contained 1 bedroom cottage annex, available either to supplement other cottages or as “stand alone” accommodation if required. It is adjacent to Shire horse Barn with views over the lakes and courtyard.

The Snug is a delightful open plan studio cottage with high ceilings to the living areas – very light airy and spacious with large sofa, dining table and complimentary wicker and pine furniture throughout.

The integral kitchen offers a good range of pots, pans, utensils and glassware together with a 2-ring electric free-standing hob, kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge. There is a large power shower off the lounge and a separate cloakroom with wash hand basin and toilet.

The double bedroom is also off the living area, 2 steps down, and has a door opening directly on to the courtyard. There is space for a cot in the lounge (charge applies) or for a third person on the sofa bed in the lounge (charge applies, please advise on booking). Board and card games are kept in the dresser with easy reading material and local information. Dogs are welcome via arrangement and fee payable on booking.
