We know how important it is for the whole family to enjoy a holiday, and with all the space we have available at Poachers Hideaway, it would be a shame if you felt unable to bring your dog with you too. We have a 40 acre field just 2 minutes away behind the farm & cottages, where dogs can exercise freely off their leads. It’s beautiful up there!

Dogs are welcome in Bluebell, Juice Trump & The Shire Horse Barn.

There are miles of lovely walks on the farm (it takes about an hour to walk around the perimeter of the farm!).

We ask that owners keep dogs off sofas and beds, and do not leave them on their own in the cottages. A kennel and run is available for those dogs who are  used to these conditions. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate dogs who are likely to bark and howl if left, for fear of disturbing other guests.

Well behaved dogs are a pleasure to have stay but badly behaved ones can disrupt other peoples’ stay, as well as the wildlife we have the privilege to enjoy around us.

There is a £20 charge per dog staying at Poachers Hideaway.
