Carp and Coarse Lakes

Whatever your preference, we have a range of well-stocked fishing lakes here at Poachers Hideaway which are free for the exclusive use of our guests.

Our lakes are easily accessible, although we do provide transport for anyone who may experience difficulty getting to them.

Fishing rods are available for hire if required.

We have 3 lakes where fishing is permitted. The main lake holds carp which are up to 20lb in weight.

Please note the following:

We only allow 1 rod per person

The use of groundbait is not permitted

No keepnets

Barbless hooks only to be used

Our other 2 lakes contain coarse fish, mainly bream and tench

We also have a 'children's pond' which is home to easy-to-catch fish such as roach, rudd etc.
