On the 4th May ITV’s “Ade in Britain” will be filming at Poachers Hideaway. The Producer was looking for a picturesque backdrop for his programme and we are delighted that they have selected our location for its beautiful views.

Ade will be cooking with Lincolnshire Produce and the programme will be shown later in the year.

Simon Steadman – Resident Site Manager/House Keeper 

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Simon and his family to Poachers Hideaway Flintwood Farm. They will be moving into “The Stables Cottage” at the end of April and Simon will be helping Sue run the cottages.

He will therefore be on site and responsible for the day-to-day management in the absence of Sue or Andrew.

Simon has worked in Hotels for a number of years and lived in the Horncastle area all of his life and is already a valued member of the team here at Poachers Hideaway.

The Arrival of “Simon”

With the advent of Spring and the abundance of rain the countryside is coming to life. The crops are growing and the scenery everchanging. The wild flowers and natural fauna are thriving - the carpet of bluebells in the woods is coming into bloom.

The birds are nesting, including the Ducks in the flower troughs!!!!!!!!!!

The Barn Owl is busy hunting and the trees are now in blossom.
